Climate change is one of most important things that should be on our daily agenda.

Our diets are one of the huge contributing factors to the degradation of the natural world.

The food we consume is covered in plastic, intensively and unnaturally farmed and often flown half way across the world.

This does not have to be the case.

At Artemis, we believe that you do not have to sacrifice what you love to retain your values, and enjoy good, honest food right on your doorstep.

Our menu follows our 2 main sustainability principles:

1. Local

Where possible, everything on our menu is local to Bristol, grown responsibly and/or foraged. The menu changes seasonally to adjust naturally to the British climate without relying on imported produce.

2. Wild / Regenerative

Our Venison and other game will always be truly wild and our other meat sourced from farms that implement regenerative agriculture that works to improve biodiversity by using cutting-edge farming methods. To learn more about planet-friendly meat, click here

“Artemis, in Greek religion, the goddess of wild animals, the hunt, and vegetation…the goddess of wild nature, who danced, usually accompanied by nymphs, in mountains, forests, and marshes. Artemis embodied the sportsman’s ideal, so besides killing game she also protected it, especially the young; this was the Homeric significance of the title Mistress of Animals.”
